Preferences

AiGo Relay settings

Choose your assistants and adjust the floating bar.

Move your mouse closer. Watch it come into focus.

Your assistants

Choose the visible assistants and drag to set their order in both bar styles and the popup. Show just one for a single-assistant bar.

01 / Assistants

Drag a handle to reorder. With the handle focused, use ↑ / ↓ or Home / End; Escape cancels a drag. Save preferences to apply your order. Alt + Shift + Y and the selection menu use the first visible assistant.

Floating bar

02 / Floating bar

Bar style

Hover at the top to reveal an opaque dropdown, or keep a floating bar beside the latest message.

Show assistant bar

Appears on supported assistant pages and Google AI conversations.

Resting transparency

The bar becomes solid as your mouse approaches.

Mouse proximity

How close your mouse needs to get to bring it into focus.

Colour theme

Follow the chat’s colours and live theme changes, or choose your own.

Rainbow border

A thin, continuous rainbow outline with a gentle colour cycle. On by default; stays still with reduced motion.

Remember where you put it

Drag the dotted handle or use its arrow keys. Each website keeps its own spot by default.

Drag the top tab or dotted handle left or right. Its position is shared across every website. Use left and right arrow keys when the handle is focused.

Reset placement

Centre the top dropdown and restore automatic placement beside the conversation. The conversation bar follows the latest loaded message and hides while you read earlier messages.

Continue with one click.

03 / Context

Open handoffs in

Choose a new tab to keep the original chat open, or continue in this tab. Back returns to the original page.

Send context automatically

Click an assistant once. AiGo Relay opens it, inserts your conversation and sends it so you can keep chatting.

Review before carrying

Open an editable preview before each transfer. Unfamiliar layouts always get a review.

Include cited sources

Carry source links found inside the captured messages.

Local context

No AiGo Relay server, analytics, API key or account. Preferences stay on this device. The chosen provider receives the context and its own data policy applies.

Temporary handoffs

Saved context expires after 30 minutes, or when cleared, the destination closes, or the browser restarts.

One click to continue

Automatic sending is on by default. Switch it off to insert drafts only. Existing drafts are always preserved.

Loaded text only

Scroll up to load older turns. Files, images, hidden reasoning and model state do not transfer.

Waiting handoffs

Preferences are saved on this device.

Custom assistants

04 / Custom

Add another web assistant. You grant access to that site only. Choose a new-chat URL and, optionally, a CSS selector for its message box.

Leave blank to try visible message boxes. If the editor can’t be filled, AiGo Relay offers copy and manual paste. Editors inside iframes or closed shadow roots require manual paste.

Getting started

05 / Getting started
1

Open your Google AI conversation.

Use AI Mode or expand an AI Overview. Load earlier turns by scrolling up.

2

Move close. Pick an assistant.

Hover over the top tab to reveal your assistants. Drag it to your preferred position. Click an icon to carry your loaded conversation. Selected text takes priority.

3

Keep talking.

Sign in to the destination if needed. AiGo Relay inserts and sends the context automatically so you can continue. A recovery card offers retry, copy and manual text if needed.

Can’t see the bar? Refresh the page after installing AiGo Relay, or use “Show floating bar” in the extension popup. On another Google country domain or any HTTPS page, select your text and use AiGo Relay’s popup or right-click menu. Provider layouts can change; use the editable preview to check what’s captured.

Keyboard shortcut

Alt + Shift + Y carries to your first visible assistant. Use the extension on a supported desktop browser.

Preferences never contain conversations. Imported custom assistants need their site access granted separately.
