Manual installation

These downloads are for browsers without a store version, and for testing. Store versions update automatically: Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons and Firefox Add-ons.

Chrome, Edge, Opera and other Chromium browsers

Download the Chromium ZIP and extract it into a folder you will keep.

  1. Open your browser’s Extensions page: chrome://extensions, edge://extensions, opera://extensions, brave://extensions or vivaldi://extensions.
  2. Turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder that contains manifest.json.
  3. Refresh your Google AI and assistant tabs.

Using Google AI in Opera? Turn on Allow access to search page results for AiGo Relay in Opera’s Extensions page, then refresh Google.

To update, extract the new download over the same folder, click AiGo Relay’s reload button on the Extensions page, then refresh each Google and assistant tab.

Firefox, for a temporary preview

This unsigned ZIP loads only until Firefox restarts. For everyday use, install the signed version from Firefox Add-ons.

  1. Download and extract the Firefox ZIP.
  2. Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox and choose Load Temporary Add-on.
  3. Select manifest.json in the extracted folder. Firefox removes the extension when it restarts.
